Material Characteristics
The filament TPU GF A98 is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)-based compound reinforced with glass fibres. It offers a unique combination of flexibility, mechanical strength and high aesthetic quality. The presence of glass fibres gives the material an elegant surface finish and a soft-touch feel.
The material has a density of 1.22 g/cm³, a tensile modulus of elasticity of 160 MPa, a tensile strength at break of 12 MPa and an elongation at break greater than 50%. These characteristics ensure dimensional stability and flexibility for components subject to repeated deformation.
