Description
SP4 CF15 – 3D Printing Filament Nylon with 15% Carbon Fiber: Stability, Strength, and Precision
Printing Parameters and Preparation:
- Material Drying: At least 4 hours at 90°C.
- Recommended Printing Temperature: 250–260°C.
- Chamber Cooling: OFF.
- Nozzle Type: Hardened Steel.
Material Characteristics:
SP4 CF15 is an advanced technopolymer based on a special nylon reinforced with 15% carbon fiber, specifically developed for 3D printing. Compared to PA12, this filament guarantees superior dimensional stability and high heat resistance, up to 180°C, allowing for printing at higher speeds. A modulus of elasticity of 8.5 GPa ensures rigidity and robustness, while excellent interlayer adhesion enables precise prints, even on very small surfaces or particularly delicate points. Furthermore, low moisture absorption helps maintain consistent performance during the printing process, making its use simple and reliable, similar to PLA.
Features and Applications:
Thanks to its advanced mechanical properties, SP4 CF15 is ideal for producing functional prototypes, structural components, and parts subjected to thermal and mechanical stress. The filament is perfectly suited for industrial applications and engineering projects, as well as for professional and hobbyist production environments, being compatible with both open and closed-frame printers. Excellent bed adhesion, achieved effortlessly at 60°C, guarantees high-quality prints even in the finest details.
Important Note:
The product, compliant with PFAS-free standards, has been developed exclusively for 3D printing. It is not suitable for food contact, for transporting drinking water, for the manufacture of children’s toys, or for applications in the pharmaceutical, medical, or dental sectors.
With SP4 CF15, you can achieve high-precision and durable 3D prints, leveraging an innovative material that combines ease of use with high performance, suitable for multiple technical and industrial applications.
