Recommended Printing Parameters

• Printing temperature: 250–260 °C

• Filament drying: 90 °C

• Heated chamber: not required (OFF)

• Nozzle type: brass

• Material drying pre-extrusion: 100 °C for at least 4 hours

Material Characteristics

The new formulation PC-PBT is a blend of polycarbonate and polybutylene terephthalate designed for professional 3D printing. It is a very rigid material with excellent high-temperature resistance and dimensional stability, even in critical environmental conditions. A key innovation is its printability on open-frame machines, thanks to low warping and excellent interlayer adhesion.

• Tensile modulus: 2600 MPa

• Tensile strength: 60 MPa

• Elongation at break: 3.6%

• Notched impact strength (23°C): 5.0 kJ/m²

• Vicat softening point (50 N): 130 °C
