⚙️ Material Properties
ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) filament is a thermoplastic material designed to deliver excellent mechanical performance and weather resistance.
Thanks to its UV stability and good thermal resistance, it is the ideal choice for outdoor applications.
Key mechanical properties:
-
Impact resistance (unnotched): 90 kJ/m²
-
Impact resistance (notched): 19 kJ/m²
-
Elongation at break: 15%
Thermal properties:
-
Vicat softening point: 95 °C
-
Heat deflection temperature (HDT):
-
At 0.45 MPa: 99 °C
-
At 1.81 MPa: 95 °C
-
🌞 ASA Filament Features
-
High UV resistance: does not yellow over time, even under direct sunlight exposure.
