Description
Nylon Filament with Aramid Fibers for Professional 3D Printing
Natural Color
PA12 Kevlar is a state-of-the-art technical filament that combines the versatility of PA12 nylon with the exceptional properties of aramid (Kevlar) fibers. Designed for FDM-FFF 3D printing, it offers a unique combination of mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and durability.
Printing Parameters
- Printing Temperature: 230°-245°C
- Build Plate Temperature: 70°-90°C
- Recommended Adhesive: 3D Booster lock
- Drying: 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use
Key Features:
- High Surface Hardness: Ideal for components subject to contact or sliding wear.
- Thermal and Chemical Resistance: Withstands temperatures above 145°C, maintaining its properties even in harsh environments.
- Flexibility and Impact Resistance: Suitable for variable loads and impacts, thanks to improved resilience compared to carbon fiber reinforced filaments.
- Self-Lubricating Properties: Perfect for tribological applications such as bearings or mechanical guides.
- Minimal Warping: Ensures precise printing even without a heated chamber, with optimal adhesion on heated beds at 70°-90°C or on glass.
PA12 Kevlar is made from ultra-pure resin, entirely produced in Italy. The opaque natural version ensures an excellent aesthetic, with layers that are practically invisible to the naked eye. This industrial-grade filament is the ideal choice for creating advanced technical components, prototypes, and end-use parts exposed to mechanical or thermal stress.
To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to dry the filament at 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use. PA12 Kevlar is for industrial use only and is not suitable for food or medical applications.
