Description
Nylon Filament with Aramid Fibers for Professional 3D Printing
Natural Color
The PA12 Kevlar is a cutting-edge technical filament that combines the versatility of PA12 nylon with the exceptional properties of aramid fibers (Kevlar). Designed for FDM-FFF 3D printing, it offers a unique combination of mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and durability.
Printing Parameters
- Printing Temperature: 230°-245°C
- Build Plate Temperature: 70°-90°C
- Recommended Adhesive: 3D Booster lock
- Drying: 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use
Key Features:
- High Surface Hardness: Ideal for components subject to wear from contact or friction.
- Thermal and Chemical Resistance: Withstands temperatures above 145°C, maintaining properties even in harsh environments.
- Flexibility and Impact Resistance: Suitable for variable loads and impacts, thanks to enhanced resilience compared to carbon fiber-reinforced filaments.
- Self-Lubricating Properties: Perfect for tribological applications such as bearings or mechanical guides.
- Minimal Warping: Ensures precise printing even without a heated chamber, with optimal adhesion on heated beds at 70°-90°C or glass.
PA12 Kevlar is made from ultra-pure resin, entirely produced in Italy. The natural opaque version ensures excellent aesthetics, with layers virtually invisible to the naked eye. This industrial filament is the ideal choice for creating advanced technical components, prototypes, and end-use parts exposed to mechanical or thermal stress.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to dry the filament at 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use. PA12 Kevlar is exclusively for industrial use and is not suitable for food or medical applications.
