Description
Aramid Fiber Reinforced Nylon Filament for Professional 3D Printing
Natural Color
PA12 Kevlar is a next-generation technical filament that combines the versatility of PA12 nylon with the exceptional properties of aramid fibers (Kevlar). Designed for FDM-FFF 3D printing, it offers a unique combination of mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and durability.
Printing Parameters
- Printing Temperature: 230°-245°C
- Build Plate Temperature: 70°-90°C
- Recommended Adhesive: 3D Booster Lock
- Drying: 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use
Key Features:
- High Surface Hardness: Ideal for components subject to wear from contact or friction.
- Thermal and Chemical Resistance: Withstands temperatures above 145°C while maintaining properties even in harsh environments.
- Flexibility and Impact Resistance: Suitable for variable loads and impacts, thanks to enhanced resilience compared to carbon fiber-reinforced filaments.
- Self-Lubricating Properties: Perfect for tribological applications such as bearings or mechanical guides.
- Minimal Warping: Ensures precise printing even without a heated chamber, with optimal adhesion on heated beds (70°-90°C) or glass.
PA12 Kevlar is made from ultra-pure resin, entirely produced in Italy. The natural opaque version ensures excellent aesthetics, with layers nearly invisible to the naked eye. This industrial-grade filament is the ideal choice for advanced technical components, prototypes, and end-use parts exposed to mechanical or thermal stress.
For optimal performance, drying the filament at 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use is recommended. PA12 Kevlar is exclusively for industrial use and is not suitable for food or medical applications.
