Description
Nylon Filament with Aramid Fibers for Professional 3D Printing
Color Black
PA12 Kevlar is a state-of-the-art technical filament that combines the versatility of PA12 nylon with the exceptional properties of aramid (Kevlar) fibers. Designed for FDM-FFF 3D printing, it offers a unique combination of mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and durability.
Printing Parameters
- Printing Temperature: 230°-245°C
- Print Bed Temperature: 70°-90°C
- Recommended Adhesive: 3D Booster lock
- Drying: 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use
Key Features:
- High Surface Hardness: ideal for components subject to contact or sliding wear.
- Thermal and Chemical Resistance: withstands temperatures above 145°C, maintaining its properties even in harsh environments.
- Flexibility and Impact Resistance: suitable for variable loads and impacts, thanks to improved resilience compared to carbon fiber reinforced filaments.
- Self-Lubricating Properties: perfect for tribological applications such as bearings or mechanical guides.
- Minimal Warping: ensures precise printing even without a heated chamber, with optimal adhesion on heated beds at 70°-90°C or on glass.
PA12 Kevlar is made from a high-purity resin, entirely produced in Italy. The opaque natural version ensures an excellent aesthetic, with layers that are practically invisible to the naked eye. This industrial filament is the ideal choice for creating advanced technical components, prototypes, and end-use parts exposed to mechanical or thermal stress.
To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to dry the filament at 70°-80°C for 4-6 hours before use. PA12 Kevlar is exclusively for industrial use and is not suitable for food or medical applications.
